Conditions of Entry
General
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry
- Patrons are required to follow staff directions at all times, failure to do so may result in eviction from the centre
- Anyone attempting to gain entry without paying or without authorisation will be prosecuted
- Abusive, disruptive or offensive behaviour and language are not permitted
- The centre accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings
- To the extent permitted by law, the Centre shall not be liable or responsible to you for any direct, indirect or consequential injury, loss or damage; and shall not be responsible for lost or stolen items, or damage to property or vehicles.
Pool
- Watch Around Water Policies apply
- Children under 10 years must be accompanied and constantly supervised by an adult
- Children under 5 years must be accompanied in the water and remain within arms reach
- Minimum ratios apply (1 Adult : 2 Children 0-4Y, 1 Adult : 4 Children 5-9Y, 1 Adult : 1 Child 0-4Y and up to 3 Children 5-9Y)
- Unsupervised children (of any age) will be removed from the water if the lifeguard is concerned for their safety
- General rough play or unsociable behaviour is not permitted due to safety concerns
- The YMCA welcomes the capturing of your magic moments on camera or video, however privacy of others must be respected. The use of cameras and video cameras at this venue is conditional upon the following:
- You must have all relevant individuals consent to capture and use images
- Under no circumstances are cameras, video cameras or mobile phones to be used in change room areas
- It is illegal to broadcast or publish images without consent
- Use the designated changing facilities provided. This is to ensure a safe, respectful and sanitary environment for all patrons.
- No changing in and out of bath
Hydro Pool
- The Hydrotherapy Pool is a heated water environment and if you are concerned that it may adversely affect your health it is your responsibility to seek medical advice prior to entry.
- The pool is designated for walking and gentle exercise; all patrons are required to abide by this.
- Children under the age of 5 must always be with a parent.
- Children 5 or older are required to meet a minimum height of 1.2m.
- Patrons may be asked to leave the Hydrotherapy Pool and be relocated to another pool at the lifeguard’s discretion based on the availability of space within the pool.
Fitness Passport (FP) members are welcome at this facility with the following access privileges:
Access and Booking
- Equivalent access to a paid All Access casual admission
- Group fitness classes can be booked up to 4 days in advance via the YMCA SA App or Client Portal
- FP members must be registered in Perfect Gym with an assigned Fitness Passport contract to book classes and access facilities
Check-In Requirements FP members must scan in using both systems at every visit:
- Fitness Passport App (for FP reporting and payment)
- YMCA SA App QR code (for accurate attendance reporting and marking present in booked classes)
Failure to complete both scan-ins may result in lost revenue for the site.
Youth Access The YMCA does not offer casual gym admission for youth under 16 years of age for safety reasons aligned to recommendations from AUSActive. FP members under 16 cannot use our gym facilities. As an alternative, the YMCA offers an Active Youth membership which provides gym access after a Youth Orientation.
Member Benefits FP members do not have access to member benefits including 24/7 access, fitness consultations and body scans, free child memberships, KidsClub, reciprocal rights, and Free Friends Friday. An FP member may purchase a YMCA membership at any time to receive these benefits.
Membership Support FP memberships are exclusively handled through Fitness Passport. If an FP member cannot show proof of a successful scan at the facility, no entry is permitted and the member must enquire with Fitness Passport. YMCA staff cannot assist with FP membership enquiries.
